Watercolour Paintings by Arthur Tindle
Art’s Fine Arts
The Interest and fascination in drawing landscapes started in childhood and I’ve always been fascinated by the challenge of capturing on paper the views of the countryside I love.
Painting has been my hobby for nearly 25 years and my work has been exhibited and sold at many Art Exhibitions in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. My paintings have also been selected for hanging in Art Exhibitions at Derby Art Gallery.
I paint in a realistic style with colours that aim to faithfully represent the scene that is being captured, so that viewing the painting could be like looking through a window on to your favourite view. It has been said that my landscape paintings transmit a sense of peace and tranquillity, which is exactly the way they relate to me.
To summarise, I enjoy painting the landscape, whether it be cliff and coastal views from, typically, Cornwall, or the mountain scenery of the Lake District, Wales and Scotland. I’ve also successfully painted hares and horses and also cats and dogs, as commission requests, when I enjoy capturing an animal’s individual character !
