I love the uniqueness of glass art and the way in which no two pieces are ever the same. The glass I use comes in many different forms such as powders, grit, stringers and sheet glass. Once cut and assembled, the designs are fired in the kiln at controlled temperatures to give the desired finish. Often my designs will go in to the kiln for up to 3 times with each firing taking up to 8 hours to complete. The glass is affixed to the front of the frame so it’s tactile nature can be enjoyed.
