David Walker
PhotoArt by David Walker David lives in Yoxall and has been an active digital artist for over eight years. PhotoArt is a relatively new artistic genre whereby the artist takes a digital photograph and coverts the image into a traditional piece of art. All of the work is produced on a computer using over 10 different specialist programs. David’s subject matter and artistic styles are eclectic. The vast majority of his art is based on his own photography thus affording a truly unique aspect to the works. A camera cannot capture reality…well not the way we see it! Our eyes instantly and continually adjust to anything we see giving second and third dimension, being able to distinguish and adjust parts that are too bright or dark and even being able to adjust colour to balance our vision. The only way to introduce depth and perspective to one dimensional photography is by manipulating the image. It is much easier with PhotoArt as the “darkroom” is now the computer! David is regularly published in national and international digital art magazines and has exhibited his works on many occasions. He was short listed for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2018. The works supplied on 100% cotton canvas and is further enhanced by the artist himself, using a clear acrylic “varnish” to embellish the print and further add depth and dimension to the artwork. As works are produced digitally the sizes of finished works can be personalised to the particular needs of the customer. By special request, the works can be made available on acrylic, laminated aluminium, photographic paper or as a digital image for use as wallpaper, back drops etc. You can see the full range of his works on https://vista-foto.com or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/davidwalkeratvistafoto
