Elizabeth Monk

I have two passions in life, wild swimming, and art. I work in oils, acrylics, and watercolours, both in the studio and in plein air. My style is immediate and loose, utilising the ‘big brush’ or ‘palette knife’ to apply paint from what is invariably a vibrant colour palette. I have painted for pleasure from a very early age. Following retirement, I had the opportunity to study under Martin Kinnear at the Norfolk Painting School. I am very honoured to have been awarded 1st prize in the Paint Out Norfolk 2023 plain air event.
