Katy Widdowson

Creating calm out of chaos is the motivation for Katy’s work. Katy is a mum of two and a parent carer to her disabled daughter, an often challenging role which can create many moments of stress. Katy says “I create to keep her mind calm, catching moments here and there in the chaos to pick up my brush and breathe.”
Katy originally trained in woven textiles and after a varying career she is focussing her work on watercolours and the natural world.
