Sue Fox

Sue Fox is a freelance artist and tutor, working in watercolour and mixed media. The mixing of media in the same painting is a process she developed while studying for her Fine Art degree, because it allows a richness of texture to convey her complex favoured subject, the natural world. She typically features small cameos rather than sweeping landscapes, letting the light and jewel-like colours recreate the moments of magic we find in the natural world. Birds are especially important to her, and while the landscapes have become more impressionistic as her work develops, the birds remain true to life.
