Dianne Joy Cox

My work has no rules or styles as I am happy working in all mediums and have recently been
experimenting with alcohol inks and hand printing

There is always something new to learn as I am always open to new ideas and experiences

My work usually has simplified composition with little drawing detail as boldness of colour

and layered surface texture are more important to me

Inspiration can come from anywhere and everywhere, mainly in the feel of a subject as opposed
to its true representation

As a mature student I acheived an Honours degree in Fine Art at the University of Derby in 1999

followed by an adult education teaching qualification in 2000

I have sold my paintings in galleries and exhibitions in London, Birmingham , Nottingham and

Staffordshire , I really enjoy exhibiting locally too.
